Pre doc opportunity on gender equality plans under CO FUND schemes

Supported and co-funded by the European Commission through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie programme, and more than 40 other partners, the University of Deusto has been awarded highly competitive funding for a second doctoral COFUND Project: the 6i-DIRS.

DEUSTO is the only university in Spain, and one of the four institutions in Europe, that will be running two COFUND Projects within the European Horizon 2020 programme: the DIRS-COFUND and this 6i-DIRS project. They aim at recruiting outstanding international Early Stage Researchers for high excellent research environment and training the University of Deusto is generating and that combines 6 elements starting with the letter ‘i’: internationalisation, interdisciplinarity, intersectoriality, social impact, innovation and inclusion.

Two calls for applications will be launched. According to the provisions established by the European Commission, candidates will be selected via an open, transparent, merit based, impartial, equitable and internationally announced. All the information regarding the first call for applicants to be launched in January 2020 will be published in the 6I-DIRS website (http://www.deusto.es/dirs-cofund.es), including the candidates’ profiles, the eligibility criteria and the foreseen timeline as well as the application procedure.

Within the first call, we envision one position on gender equality, aimed at analysing the implementation of GEPs in RFOs. If you know any potential candidate who might be interested, please forward this information. Once the call for applicants is open we will send you the updated information.

For more information you can contact us via cofund@deusto.es or +34 944129000 (ext. 3188).
