Researcher in Social Affairs, Gender and Equality

COME PREPARED

A successful candidate will have:

Strong understanding of and a real interest in policies in the EU and EU Member States in the relevant policy areas (gender equality, equal opportunities and non-discrimination, social inclusion and protection, working conditions, etc.);

Knowledge of and experience in applying standard research methods;
Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to use them creatively; Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with emphasis on report writing; Ability to absorb detail and to see the big picture.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences or humanities.

TAKE ON CHALLENGES

You should be ready to take part in a wide range of research, monitoring and advisory activities including but not limited to:

Contributing to the methodological design and implementation of research activities;
Carrying out qualitative and quantitative analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of necessary outputs; Writing research proposals and reports;
Providing advice to policy- and decision-makers;
Presenting research findings to colleagues, clients and the public at large scale.
