Queer Diaspora Gathering | Untold Asian Stories

Are you a queer person of colour? This event is for you!
For the final act of the Queer Asian Month, Untold Asian Stories invites all queer people of colour for an event that centers queer joy through connecting with food, finding friends in the community, sharing struggles and joy in their queerness and gathering together admirational queer diasporic representation on this day filled with workshops, speakers, community projects, and food!
Programme:
7:00 – 7:30pm: start with some icebreakers to get to know each other.
7:30 pm – food: a potluck in which everyone brings their favourite veggie dishes.
7:30 – 8:30pm: a mix of workshops, performances, art, videos that were created, etc.
8:30 – 11pm: continue celebrating, eating, finding joy with each other.
There will be a queer joy wall with Queer diaspora art, participative projects, etc. This wall is a community effort, so bring anything you’d like to hang there/share!
